It’s been a while since I did a Give Away and I completely missed Christmas! Sometimes it’s like pulling teeth to get visitors to comment on my blog. This is yet another attempt to try and break this trend. I like comments people, it makes me feel like you are actually reading this thing! Don’t get me wrong, I like your emails too. So here is a little challenge, in 2 sentences or less write out one or two of your New Years Resolutions. If you do, your name will be entered into a drawing for one product of your choice from Twiceborn Pottery (where my super cool pasta dishes came from). The drawing will take place on January 14.
Dan and I will go first:

Okay, I’ll go first. My New Years resolutions go as follows: to follow the daily schedule that I have written for myself, including predetermined sleeping and waking times (midnight to 8:30), with exceptions made for late-night ministry opportunities; as well as maintaining more regular eating habits.
Why did I write that like a legal brief?
Perfect Amy. If you win, I will be shipping your amazing pot/mug or other gift of choosing to Germany! I’m so proud of your sleep schedule. I need to do that myself!
Well, I have yet to stick to it. It’s more of a “after this week” kind of a resolution.
New Years Resolution-To start commenting on your blog. I love your photos and I would really love me some pottery!
1. More Sleep 2. Less Coffee 3. Finally finish College! Hey Kate how do we know if we win?? p.s. Are you willing to do a wedding in Wisconsin? LOVE your work
Good question, I will blog about the drawing/winner on January 14 and I will also email you at the email address you use when commenting-so make sure it’s your actual email address! As far as Wisconsin, yes we do travel for weddings. I’ll email you soon for details!
New Years Resolution:
Where as I have only seen 26 new years and
Where as I was not encouraged to make New Years resolution as a child and
Where as I did make a few resolutions but rarely kept them (for example: one New Years I resolved to lift weights every other day… but evidence today suggests that never happened) and
Where as I attended a new years party full of people who did not strike up a resolution and thus felt no peer pressure to also create one and
Where as I am not actually opposed to persons making resolutions and would actually support a serious attempt to improve one’s life but
Where as occasion did not present itself with any specific and realistic feat surmountable in 1 year’s time
Therefore I set no binding compact on myself this New Year of 2010
I don’t really have a new years resolution either, but I would like to enter the drawing…so I will say, I would like to be more eco-friendly. I’ve started carrying around one of those eco-bags with me when I got shopping so I don’t use plastic bags. Maybe I’ll pick up a few more eco-friendly habbits.
Hi, Kate–I love all your photos! My new year’s resolution is to hopefully get in shape this year.
I’ve been wanting to take on the 365 project where you take a self-portrait everyday for a year, but I haven’t gone as far to say that it’s a resolution because I haven’t even started yet… but it’s a cool idea. I’d like to do it eventually http://www.flickr.com/groups/365days/.
Mayla-My friend Kristen is actually attempting to do that! I have no idea how people find the time to do that. Here is a link to what she has so far: http://kgrahamphoto.blogspot.com/
