I promise more pictures are coming soon. I have plenty to share with you, but I’m working overtime on my new website and I’ve had print orders galore. Plus the Olympics have required  much of my evening attention, which is what has inspired this blog post. Nissan is pushing their new car, Leaf, pretty hard. It hasn’t been officially released yet, they are just spreading the word about their 100% electric zero emissions vehicle. Here are my questions though…

1) What do you do if you run out of electricity? Does AAA have a mobile electric jump/juicer?

2) If you can only go 100 miles per charge, is this really a practical car? It seems more suited for very small inner city trips.

3) Are they working to build electric “gas” stations for these cars or do you just have to charge them at home?

4) If you are not using green mountain energy or another natural energy/non-coal energy company, are you really helping the environment that much?

I don’t mean to sound cynical, I’m really excited about this. I just have some questions. Check it out for yourself, I would love to hear your thoughts:

That’s an interesting car, but I agree that the 100 miles per charge is not practical. And the charging factor is too limiting for me…..I would hate to have an emergency only to find out that my car wasn’t charged up!

I agree! I love the idea, but I’m not sure it’s practical.
