We decided to do Kaileigh’s pictures at her house because she has a beautiful backyard full of plants and flowers. Unfortunately, last week a significant freeze came through Fort Worth killing pretty much everything (including Dan and I’s little garden…). We decided to stick with the game plan and just go with it. Kaileigh also told me that she doesn’t like getting her picture taken. So of course, I asked her to do some crazy things… I wanted to get a few different examples of the different styles for senior pictures. I shoot all sessions basically the same but it would help me a lot if you let me in on a little of your personality first. To help you do this, I (and Kaileigh) have created a little guide…

If you can’t think of what style you are, just give me 3 words that describe you. This will really help me to photograph your personality and not just a personality that I come up with. Cool? Enough with the tutorial, here are the rest of Kaileigh’s pics!

You captured the life and amazing personality of my gorgeous baby sister perfectly! She definitely hates having her photo taken but these photos capture the essence of little miss Kaileigh as if there isn’t a camera in sight! Thanks for making my day.. how lucky am I to have this gorgeous sweet little girl… okay, okay.. ADULT..as my baby sister?!?!

Oh my goodness!! Kaileigh these are so good! My favorite is the one as you’re walking in the street almost in front of our house with your head turning back to the photographer, hair flowing . . . gorgeous! Also I love the last one with your hand on your hip in the street! So innovative and fun . . . perfect! Does Kate do weddings? Love you!

What a beautiful young lady you have grown in to! I can’t believe that you are old enough to have Senior Pictures done but obviously you are! Your pictures are beautiful and I too think that my favorite picture is the one of you in the middle of the street looking backwards! What a symbolic picture…on the road to success with your whole life in front of you and you looking back at all of us with such confidence and beauty! Congrats!
