I took all of these in the car on our way to Houston. I couldn’t pick my favorite, I really love them all. Bright lights and slow shutter-speed is so fascinating.

The next pictures are all from Dan’s little Rebel. He doesn’t like using my 5D. I made him once and he didn’t like it at all. I keep a battery pack on mine at all times which makes it more bulky, and it’s already twice the weight of our rebel so he’s never tried it out again. I on the other hand hadn’t held the rebel in so long, it seemed so tiny! Any-who…Check out the un-environmentally friendly Houston Marathon runners:

Houston_Half_CupsIsn’t that insane! It was like this at every water stop. ugh..depressing…

Berry_Tree_02 copyOk, I’m only posting ONE picture of myself because I would rather you only see pictures of me when I am clean, well rested and don’t feel like I’m going to die. I believe this was at mile 4 so I was still going strong

and for our finale

Crazy_beardDan loved this guy’s beard.

I love the second and the last long-exposure. The last one is my favorite. The cups make me sad. I thought about Dan as soon as I saw that guy’s beard. Actually, my first thought was, “That’s what Dan is going to look like in 50 years.” Then, I saw your comment and laughed. I really like the lighting in the one of you running. Good job, Dan.

AH! And, I forgot to say: I want a print of the tree to hang in my house. Seriously, I love it.

Congratulations on completing the marathon! But those cups….what a mess! It’s nice to see the last guy running–it gives me inspiration.

  • Erin

    Bah! That guy is awesome
