I guess you could say a part of our DanKatnakuh celebration was an accidental trip to downtown Grapevine. I was in between shoots, and basically, I ended up being too late to make my last one…long story short, we had a date in downtown Grapevine. I was able to shoot a few pictures before the sun went down. I just love it, we’re going to have to go back.

The local gardening group in Grapevine was selling plants for gardens. It reminded me of the little gardening group Dan and I are …well… that we hope to be members of in Fort Worth. So far, we’ve only been able to attend one meeting! If you are into gardening (or you would like to be) and you are in Fort Worth check out Elizabeth Anna’s.

Look, I have a plant!

Dan loves succulents. Actually all plants and flowers, but especially succulents.

My last pictures before it was too dark to shoot. This dress is pretty amazing. Dan really wanted to buy it for me but 1) The store was closed and 2) I won’t let him spend anymore of his fun money on me. We’re trying a new budgeting system and so far Dan has been spending more of his fun money on me than himself. It’s hard to fight it though, I really do like this dress. Oh, and in case you were wondering, I am already out of fun money for the month.

We ate at Farina’s Winery & Cafe I would highly recommend it! The owner is from Italy and uses old family recipes. We ordered pizza and wine, it was like we were in Italy again. Seriously, some of the best pizza we’ve had, even compared to pizza in Italy. I am an advocate for supporting locally owned business, especially when they are yummy! Go check it out:
