Katie’s Bridal portraits were taken at The Inn On Lake Granbury, one of my favorite wedding venues.

We started inside the main Inn and then ventured out to the Lake.

Remember my secret bride?

After my shoot with Alexa it was so hard for me to resist the urge to blog! I really have to give all of the credit for this shoot to Alexa. She did all of the leg work. She really wanted her bridal shoot to be in a vineyard and she found a fantastic vineyard to work with.

I love the peak through shots.

A special thanks to Alexa’s bridesmaids who came along and held my light reflector. Without you, this shot would not be possible.

Alexa and Eric were married TODAY in Austin, TX! Photobooth pictures from their wedding will be available for viewing by Wednesday, May 25.

There is a certain sense of whimsical freedom conveyed by the above image. It is the same feeling that I get when I think of laying in a field of flowers with the sun beating down on my face or jogging barefoot in the sand along the beach. It is as if time has stopped and allowed, just for a moment, to be carefree. This, in many ways, makes me think of marriage. The freedom that comes by receiving unconditional love from your best friend. The whimsical feeling of exploring life together. The carefree nature of new love.

Stephanie’s bridal portraits were taken at Willow Lake Wedding Gardens. It was a beautiful day for a portrait session. The sky was wonderfully spotted with clouds but not enough to rain. It was also my first session in less than 90 degree heat in a few months! It was quite refreshing.

Molly & Zach First Sight

Molly & Zach both impressed me with their calm nature.

Molly was absolutely glowing. She was hands down the most calm and put together Bride I have photographed. She put a lot of work in up front to make sure the wedding day ran smoothly and then enjoyed every single second of it.

Molly’s face pretty much sums up how I would describe their wedding day. Fun and full of love.
