Dan is currently in the mountains of Colorado without me… I’ve been looking through our travel pictures and my heart is aching.
Dan took this photo with his point and shoot on our honeymoon to Banff Canada, and this is a picture that I took with my Rebel (which is now SOLD fyi) of Lake Moraine. If you plan to visit I would HIGHLY recommend staying at Moraine Lake Lodge. Waking up every morning to this is pretty close to Heaven as far as I am concerned.
I felt a little ridiculous putting my logo on the above picture since I had to little to do with how magnificent it is. I try to give credit where credit is due.
Anywho, I don’t know if I’m just jealous because Dan is walking through the snow and hiking during his afternoons and I am in the middle of a city in Texas–but I am ready to get out! So, here is my new deal, if you are having a destination wedding (it doesn’t have to be the mountains, beaches are great too!) and I am not already booked and Dan is free, we will come out and photograph your wedding for FREE, you just pay our travel fee.
That is BEAUTIFUL! Isn’t that close to where the Olympics were? I had no idea Canada was so beautiful.

Kate, I am having a wedding in Ellensburg, Washington (in the middle of the cascade mountains). I read your blog post about aching to travel, and thought that you would make a perfect photographer for my wedding on October 15, 2011. I think paying travel expenses instead of a hourly fee would make having an amazing photographer like you much easier to obtain.
I was wondering if you were still intersted in travelling and if October 15th is free for you.
