First bit of exciting news, Kate Leverenz Photography was featured in Holy Teen Magazine, a publication of Turning Point Christian Academy. I was so honored to be contacted and interviewed, I had no idea we would get a full page spread! So fun!

Now to the read deal. I have been hesitant to put anything official on the website because everything is up in the air, but yesterday I changed my “Investment” info on my wedding website so I felt that a blog post was in order. It looks like Dan & I will be moving June 2011. We won’t know where until January, so for now I have put a freeze on booking weddings past May 2011. I will most likely book a few weddings in the DFW area around holidays or for excuses to come and visit the family, but those kinks will be worked out later. Until we know where we are moving, things will just be at a stand still as far as Summer/Fall 2011. For all of my upcoming weddings, never fear-I am still here! We’ll be traveling a lot for both Dan’s school program and booked weddings so I may take a few days to return emails and phone calls, but I will do my best to be available. This weekend we will be in South Dakota, and then next week Philadelphia. I’ll try my best to keep my calendar on the up and up for those of you trying to schedule portrait sessions.
